Album out to download/stream now!
Giving it my first listen now.
Edit 1am: And I love it!
My album track highlights are No More Tears on the Dancefloor, Neon Blue & I Will Love Again. Story of a Heart is great, I think I might prefer the 7th Heaven remix over the album version though.

Omg, that live performance was EVERYTHING. I also listened to their album - really really liked it! Definitely Steps in 2017. I had it mostly in the background, so I need to give it a closer listen.
Out of curiosity, are there any DDers going to their December 6 show in Liverpool? I'm from California, but I think I'm going to join my partner on his work trip to London around that time...I'm thinking about going to Liverpool for a few days to explore and see the Steps show while he's working!

I'm hauling ass to the UK at the end of the year just for Steps tho not sure which venue yet, prays tickets don't sell out for every show
This album really is amazing , highlights for me are Happy, I will Love Again & Glitter And Gold, tho I'm sure these will change.
Think they should've added another song or two instead of the mixes and this would've been perfection

Album #1 on iTunes good for them

The albums enjoyable though I think Story of a Heart isn't the right choice for second single imo I'd have saved that for fourth single nearer Christmas (if they make it to a fourth single)
No More Tears on the Dancefloor, Neon Blue or Glitter & Gold seemed the obvious choices of second single imo

This album is amazing.
I can't say anything else. I'm so blown away. Just what the follow up to Buzz should have been like years ago!

My weave has been absolutely SNATCHED by the album. The 7th Heaven Mix of Story Of A Heart should be bottled up and sold as poppers.

I'm about to listen to the album. I was able to get it on my phone cause I'm on a trip so listening to it on the plane will be perfect. Your guys enthusiasm for the album got me excited!

It looks like they are quite aware Parasise Lost is a fan favourite, would be pretty surprised if they didn't perform that on tour.

It's a great album. However, I do find the cover of 'I Will Love Again' a bit useless, why did they do that? If they had to do it, Claire should've sung it alone.

I LOVE the album, they did such a great job. It's hard to pick favorites.
Immediate standouts for me were 'Neon Blue', 'Glitter & Gold', 'Story of A Heart (7th Heaven Remix)' and 'Happy'.
I love every single song on the album though

Faye looks so amazing

Fuck me Lee has never looked hotter. Scared of the dark is a 10/10 it is just a shame for me the rest of the album is pretty dire.

That's how I call it a real celebration of the 20th anniversary in music! To me it feels like they never ever left! The Spice Girls must study their plans if there'll be a potential
comeback in near future, their album is just flawless.
P.s any idea which brand Lee was wearing in that performance? The 2 color shirt?

Mint Royale seems confident that Steps could get the #1 album this week, I truly hope so! https://twitter.com/MintRoyale/status/8 ... 7118718979

It would really be STEPTACULAR if they went to #1. If they do, I imagine this is not the last album we get.
Posted: 23 Apr 2017, 12:17
I would imagine as well as being #1 on iTunes, Steps would be especially strong on physicals? They've done the bulk of the promo for this week now so I'd expect it'll drop, but they do have Loose Women coming up. How wonderful it would be to get that top spot.

ordering online but having the cd shipped to nz, will that count as a sale for the uk charts?
Anyone know what's in the album booklet?
Posted: 23 Apr 2017, 13:09
As nice as it would be for them the early midweeks don't include streaming sales, Ed will kill them on streaming, he will do minimum 15k through streaming. Ed also has jools holland this week which will no doubt boost his sales.
Posted: 23 Apr 2017, 13:36
I think sales have indicated already that Ed is currently ahead of Steps. I don't think they'll get number one by end of the week, but anything top 10 would be amazing.
Anyone know how the single is doing ?

^ Their two recent performances boosted Scared of the Dark into the Top 10 on iTunes, and it climbed as as high as #8 (it's currently #9). Unfortunately the song isn't included on the most major Spotify playlists, so that puts a spanner in the works.
If the album charts at #2 that'll still be incredible!

Amazing result for the album. It's a pity streaming let's so many great singles down these days.
